With the winter weather well and truly here, its time for big coats and even bigger scarves. I've decided to put together some of my winter staples that will keep you warm yet make you look stylish this winter.
An oversized tailored coat is one of my all-time favourites, I love the look of them and how professional and put together they make you look. For a more laid back look I would layer them with hoodies, the contrast of the slouchy hoodie and tailored coat just gives a real cool vibe. It also keeps you that bit warmer in the cold.
Another staple in my wardrobe is boots! Be it flats or heels you'll defiantly see them in my wardrobe. My two all-time favourites at the moment are my deep red heeled boots from faith, they are so comfy I can wear them all day and my feet won't hate me for it. My second pair are my flora chelsea boots from dr. martens not only are they in an amazing deep cherry colour (they almost look black) but the more you wear them the boots actually change colour. They have a two-tone shift they give such a unique look to every outfit.
Big chunky scarves are a lifesaver, you know what I'm talking about the ones that almost look like blankets. I'd honestly be so lost without mine for I am forever freezing my little butt off, they are so easy to wrap around yourself and get all cozy especially for those early morning starts.
I love hats, they can be such a statement piece and add that little pop to any outfit. Bowler hats, Beanies and floppy hats you name it I've got it! They are the easiest way to keep your head warm. It doesn't matter if you want to keep it casual or dressy there's a hat for every occasion.
